Walking by Grace: Our Story
A journey of faith, hope, and love
We’re Rachel and Jürgen—a young Christian couple blessed with two little princesses and we’re journeying through one of life’s most exciting seasons. Between the joys and the questions, the challenges and the celebrations, we’re learning every single day how to walk more fully in God’s grace.
After much prayer and reflection, we launched this blog to share our real-life experiences, honest struggles, and the lessons God is teaching us along the way. Our hope is that these stories and reflections will encourage you in your own journey of faith.
We want this space to be truly interactive; a conversation between you and us. We believe we have so much to learn from your insights, your questions, and your own stories. So please, dive in, leave a comment, ask a question, or simply say “hello.” We can’t wait to hear from you!

In fact, if I dare to speak of anything, it is only what Christ has accomplished through me…
Romans 15:18
Over the past ten years, my walk with the Lord has been anything but predictable. He’s used seasons of correction, instruction, and hands-on teaching to shape me into someone who reflects His glory. Watching God’s Word come to life—in others and in myself—has been the most powerful experience I’ve ever known. That’s why I’m committed to sharing these practical reflections—what I’m thinking, what I’m learning, and how I’m growing as a follower of Christ.
I’m convinced that, week after week, at least one person will find blessing and hope in the thoughts we share here. We may not post every single week, but each time we do, we pray that God uses our words to draw someone closer to Him—so that His glory shines ever brighter.
Read with me. Comment. Ask questions. Let’s learn from one another.
You are blessed!
Jürgen
Yet, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our Potter. We are all the work of your hands.
Isaiah 64:8
These past few years have been full of change—difficult decisions, unexpected news, and seasons where everything I leaned on seemed to fall away. In those moments, God gently taught me what it means to depend on Him like a child. I discovered that His plans for me aren’t always what the world calls “right,” and that His evaluation of a faithful servant doesn’t follow human standards.
Through it all, I’ve learned to keep my eyes fixed solely on God as my ultimate measure. It’s this journey of trust and transformation that I’m excited to share with you—simply and honestly, hoping it brings you encouragement and a fresh sense of God’s loving care.
With love,
Rachel
