His Strength in my weakness

Living with a rare lung disease taught me that a diagnosis does not define God’s purpose. This testimony reflects on faith, endurance, and discovering that strength is found in Him, not in what the body can or cannot do.

To love differently: the choice to wait.

Sex outside of marriage can leave behind shame, broken hearts, and confusion. But even deeper than that, it blinds us to something far more beautiful: a kind of love that honors, waits, and reflects Christ.

When Obedience Becomes Inconvenient

When fear drives our decisions, we may mistake escape for safety. A reflection on Jeremiah 42–43 and the tension between seeking God’s will and obeying it when the path feels uncertain.

Nothing Is Wasted

Reflection on faith, waiting seasons, career uncertainty, and trusting God when progress isn’t visible; because nothing learned in God’s hands is ever wasted.

When Obedience Heals the Heart

Sometimes, God’s instructions don’t make sense. When a situation at work left me hurt and frustrated, my first instinct was to defend myself to escalate things and make sure justice was done. But before I could, I felt a quiet whisper in my spirit: “Don't do it.” Then came another instruction even harder to obey: “Pray for her.”

Praying for the Wife of My Husband

Many wives pray for their husbands to change—but true transformation often starts with us. Before asking God to work in your spouse’s heart, pray for “the wife of your husband”: yourself. When we invite God to heal our hearts, shift our perspective, and fill us with His love, our prayers for our husbands become far more powerful and effective.

Here are the "Thoughts" you might have missed

Trusting the Father

Who among us hasn’t felt the urge to run from God’s presence after a mistake—especially following sin or disobedience? It’s all too easy to hide in shame when guilt takes over. We feel unworthy. Unlovable. Disqualified from entering His presence.

Trust in Him (Isaiah 2:22)

The verse of Isaiah 2:22 struck my heart deeply today during my Bible reading. It echoed in my spirit like a personal command from the Lord: “Jürgen, stop trusting in man in someone whose breath is in his nostrils, who is limited in his days and strength. Why rely on him for what only the Creator can provide? Why expect from him the safety, wisdom, and satisfaction that only God offers?”

When THE King Calls

When God calls us to meet with Him, it’s not about routine; it’s about relationship. I used to silence the alarm that reminded me of our time together, not realizing I was silencing an invitation from the King of Kings. It wasn’t until the Holy Spirit whispered, “You do not honor Me,” that I saw how easily I made time for everyone else, but not for the One who holds my breath.

Practical Love

True joy is not found in holding on, but in pouring out. When we give, whether it's time, care, finances, or help, we become part of God’s movement of love on the earth.

Worship the Giver – NOT the gift

“Do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” — Matthew 6:31–32 (NIV)

God Still Works Miracles

God still works miracles today — often closer and simpler than we expect. In a moving story of a fast-food worker who received a car at just the right moment, we’re reminded that behind every timely gift or last-minute answer stands God’s hand. Whether spectacular or everyday — a prayer answered, a friend’s help, a new opportunity — every solution ultimately comes from Him. This reflection invites us to look for His miracles in our own lives and to thank Him first.
