This verse struck my heart deeply today during my Bible reading. It echoed in my spirit like a personal command from the Lord: “Jürgen, stop trusting in man in someone whose breath is in his nostrils, who is limited in his days and strength. Why rely on him for what only the Creator can provide? Why expect from him the safety, wisdom, and satisfaction that only God offers?”

In the Midst of Tear
The very thing I thought would disqualify me became the backdrop for His power. “His strength was made perfect in my weakness.”

Worship the Giver – NOT the gift
“Do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” — Matthew 6:31–32 (NIV)

How to Receive the Gift of Salvation
“Dear God, I know that I have sinned and that I need Your forgiveness. Thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins and rise again. I ask You to forgive me and come into my life as my Lord and Savior. Help me to follow You all the days of my life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Appearance vs Reality
A thought for today: Start with the heart, even if no one else sees it. Let the inner life be trimmed, healed, and tended, because that’s where true growth begins.
